The City Hall on the Burg in Brugge

The City Hall is located on the Burg and was build in the late 14th century. It's one of the oldest city halls in Belgium and is very similar to the city hall in Leuven. Each time when there was a need for more space, they have added new parts to the city hall. Some parts hold statues like in Leuven, other parts have golden decorations and towers. Inside the town hall, you find different rooms like the renaissance room (with the famous open fire place) and gothic room (with all its detailed decorations). Inside you also find many paintings. It's a nice building to visit.
