The church of San Felipe Neri, Malaga

In the 18th century this was a small chapel but in a few phases the building has been expanded to a Baroque church with very attractive towers. You see that they were added to the existing construction. We particularly like how the walls of the towers are covers with paintings. Unfortunately the church facade needs maintenance.

The interior is simple and contains richly decorated altars. Around the main altar, in the shape of a small dome, you find several chapels holding modern paintings. At first sight it looks nice but it would be more appropriate in a modern church, it doesn't match with the Baroque style.

  6. That is a sweet chapel. I see what you mean about the paintings...they don't look right in that chapel.
